As we close out the school year at Chappell and the fiscal year for the Friends of Chappell, I wanted to thank you again for your past contributions to Friends of Chappell. The FOC is proud to have been able to provide support for the stellar school and community that we are all so proud of and thankful for -- and we couldn't have done it without your support. Thanks to your generosity, the FOC contributes approximately $40,000 annually to help fund the Playworks recess program, Gardeneers gardening program, school assemblies, and our exciting new Alveole bee-keeping program! We are committed to keeping our funding consistent in the next school year, as we navigate this challenging new environment.
The bulk of FOC's annual fund-raising occurs during the Dance-a-thon and Spring Fundraiser, which were curtailed in 2020. Perhaps you had planned to attend these events as your way of showing support for the Chappell experience which we all value. We are all disappointed that we could not enjoy these joyful experiences together, but also hope that those cancellations do not have a negative impact on our ability to support the school.
If it is within your financial means, please do consider making a donation to Friends of Chappell. Perhaps commensurate with what you would have donated at those events, perhaps just in line with how much you would like to support Chappell.
