All are welcome to volunteer! Volunteers are the bedrock of FOC and there are endless opportunities to help support Chappell School. Throughout the year, FOC hosts a variety of community-building events, such as Back-to-School Night and the Fall Carnival, as well various fundraising functions. Our events are listed below. Please let us know if you can help out!
Join in the fun to welcome families back to Chappell with a casual bring-your-own picnic. Help out with face painting, snack and drink sales, or raffle ticket sales.
This is one of our biggest fundraisers - and very well attended. Over 450 people participated in 2016. Students purchase tickets to spend on fun games, food, drinks, and face painting. Help the committee with ticket sales, carnival set up, food and drink service, face painting, running the games, or clean up.
Local proprietor Baker Miller donates a portion of the proceeds from its baked goods sales to FOC. Help out by communicating the sale to family and friends and/or distributing the goods to purchasing families.
Local business, The Davis Theater, hosts a movie day for Chappell families. Help out by selling tickets and by attending.
This is a great event for students and families! Students solicit donations and participate in dance lessons and contests. Help the committee by securing prizes, setting up, tallying bid forms, supervising, and cleaning up.
A local pizzeria donates a portion of the proceeds from its restaurant to FOC. This is a nice community-building evening.
This is one of our biggest fundraisers - it's a silent auction and adult-only event at a neighborhood location. Help the committee by soliciting silent auction items, raffle items, sponsorships, event set up and clean up, and ticket sales.
Show our teachers how much they are appreciated! Help the committee by baking treats and brunch items, coordinating student thank you notes, soliciting donations, and helping with set up.
